After over 30 years in the education field, it was time for a change. I decided to combine my two greatest passions, travel and photography. In the last five years I have traveled to many countries and enjoyed visiting such remarkable cultures and amazing sites. Some sites were challenging to find, but after awhile I was able to locate them, well, most of them.
Some places that I visited were not always easy to find, but just in the last year I had discovered Local Guides. When in an area that has WiFi, I was able to look up on Google Maps and some sites that I was not aware of were posted on this site. To see some photo’s of a specific site gave me inspiration to visit some of these new places that were not on my original list, while in the area. The problem I encountered is that some sites I was viewing did not have accurate photo’s … there may be photo’s of people or some unrelated pics. It was for this reason that I found it to be important to start posting accurate photo’s and information on Local Guides … to hopefully help other viewers.
