Debipur is a small village located at Memari I block in Purba Bardhaman district.Debipur is located at the distance of 39 km from its district headquarters - Barddhaman,5 km from Memari - 1 block and 78 km from the state capital - Kolkata.In the year 1840 Narottam Sinha,the Zamindar of Debipur, brought some land from the Dewanof Bardhaman region in order to establish the Laxmi Janardan Mandir,The temple has also been popular for its sixty foot high Shikhara,which is adorned with traditional way of rekh-deul style.Beside this you can also visit Singha Zamindar bari Twin teracotta shiva temple & dol moncha in Debipur Shibtala bus stop.The deities worshiped in the temple are Shiva, Radha-Krishna and Bamakali.
