A NYC Adventure with Dinosaurs and Family!

Hola amigos! :grinning: I just had the most amazing trip to New York City :statue_of_liberty: with my family, and the crown jewel of our adventure was none other than the Museum of Natural History!

Remember that first train ride with the kids? :railway_car: :child:t3:Penn Station, Madison Square Garden…whew, it was a whirlwind! But we finally made it to the museum around 3pm,after a couple of “scenic detours” on the subway. :scream: … yeah, we got lost twice!

Now, the last time I set foot in this place was a lifetime ago – single and kid-free!Fast forward :fast_forward: to today, happily married with two little daughters, and let me tell you, the museum is even more magical with tiny explorers in tow. :sparkles:

Of course, the dinosaur hall was a guaranteed hit. Those towering skeletons had jaws dropping all around, young and old alike! I swear, T-Rex could give Godzilla a run for his money.

But the museum’s wonders extend far beyond prehistoric beasts. We journeyed through the origins of Earth, marveled at the evolution of animals (hello, gorillas and chimps!), and even took a deep dive into the diverse cultures of our planet.

Speaking of cultures, I was bursting with pride as I showed my daughters the incredible artifacts from pre-Columbian Peru. :peru: From Chavin pottery to Wari textiles,we talked about the rich history and craftsmanship of our ancestors. It was a moment I’ll treasure forever. :two_hearts:

And let’s not forget the treasures from other corners of the globe! Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Asia,Africa – the museum is a veritable melting pot of human ingenuity and artistry. :mexico: :colombia: :panama:

Sadly, the clock struck 6pm, and even the most dedicated dinosaur hunters had to be ushered out. But fear not, this NYC adventure is far from over! I’ve got more exciting stories and snaps to share from other “super nice places” we explored. Stay tuned!

Until next time, my friends!

P.S. I couldn’t resist adding some of the pics I took at the museum. Hope you enjoy them!

Fantastic post @marcorp . We went to the Natural history museum in LA in 2019. It was so amazing to just look at the bone structure of this huge dinosaurs that once ruled the Earth millions of years ago.

I know it is silly BUT i have always wondered what would happen if the Dinosaurs were alive today :slightly_smiling_face: I know i know we will be it’s food. I just wondered whether these can be tamed at all by humans and we could co exist.

Have you guys thought something silly like this :grinning:

Such a beautiful and interesting post @marcorp . I was really into dinosaurs growing up too, so your museum adventure with the dinosaurs really piqued my interest. The displays look so cool, and I’m just the same as you- I could wander a museum for hours and read every sign. :couple_with_heart_woman_man:
