I received this email which indicates that we can now report incorrect info on Google Maps, even if we don’t know the correct details. Now that’s interesting!!! Interesting because (a) I received this email today but it’s related and links to the announcement back in April, An easier “Suggest an edit” flow in Google Map and (b) if it’s a general email sent to all Local Guides then those that have not as yet joined Connect will be redirected to Connect. Now that’s not a bad thing!!!
Yes that’s the puzzle. I was puzzled by the fact that it was announced back in April and I only got this email today @WilfriedB so I wondered, was there something that I missed?
Given it was discussed it during December 2023 @Kumaarsantosh it puzzles me even more why I received this email advising about this now. However, one benefit I see is that as I mentioned in my opening comment, ifit’s a general email sent to all Local Guides then those that are not members of this Community will at least be made aware of it and the type of valuable Maps/Local Guides information that is available to you by being a member .
Thank you @Carlos23_1 it’s a busy time but all is well. Thank you also for confirming that you also received this email in Sincelejo. This makes me think that it is a mass email sent out to Local Guides en mass.
