Hello, my name is José, I’m from Bogotá Colombia, I’m 21 year ald architecture student. I’m a passionate amateur photographer and architecture student. I’m always surprised no matter the times i visit the same place, because every time is special and unique. When i walk through the city, when i travel, i have my own and different experience. I like to share how i felt, how it was, and desribe every sensation. Every photo i take helps me to connect with my memories, to keep them alive.
In this post i want to share some places in my country mainly in my city Bogota. I’ve picked some of them based on my daily life and special moments with friends and family. So, I’m going to start with Basilica of Our Lady of Lourdes located in Chapinero Neighbourhood in Bogota d.c
1. Basilica of Our Lady of Lourdes
At this place and it’s nearby areas i have some of the best memories of my childhood, inside this Gothic Style Church you can feel it’s majesty, the beauty of it’s art, the peace you feel when you connect with this place. The surrounding areas like the plaza and restataurants keep the place alive, the sentation of a moving city where culture converge.
2. Downtown Bogotá / Historical Centre
Here you can inspire and breathe art. Bogotá is know as the Athens of America, the city of theatre, arts and diversity. I love the historical centre, there as an architect i can find new ideas, imagine how my city can be, how our heritage has marked our lives. Through my eyes i detail every precise change and factor. I may say Bogotá never stops changing, the history stills but we bulilt new memories that feed an individual story for each person.
3.0 Salt Mine / Cathedral in Zipaquirá
This place is one of the wonders of COlombia, i’t magic, charming and astonshing. you feel in another world, there are unbelievable
shapes and salt sculptures, water mirrors that reflect it’s singularity. It’s an underground salt church, Have you seen something like that it before???
