Recently I traveled to Mexico City and while I was using subway I discovered inside a station a museum, is not incredible? Mexico City is always an enchanted place, but this time surprised me in an unexpected way, I was walking trough ¨Mixcoac¨ station of line 12 when I discovered ¨Museo del Metro¨, this museum shows photographs and plans of the 60´s when subway was made, also they show the history about the iconic icons of the stations and other facts of the aesthetics of the design of the subway identity. By the way, they have a temporal exposition of the artist Elizabeth Ross.
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 10 pm. Free entrance.
Without doubt Mexico City is full of history, art and a strong heritage that even in subway you can find it.Any doubt check official link https://www.metro.cdmx.gob.mx/museo-del-metro
