This is an introduction to public facilities where you can enjoy cartoons all day long.
Kitakyushu Manga Museum

About 70,000 books
Hands-on cartoon drawing experience available
Searchable in advance(English OK!)

You can leave and enter the building during your visit only on the day you enter (no food is allowed inside the museum).
Photography is allowed for some exhibits.
There are many other benefits.
You can also read comics while lying on a wide mat, although this is currently banned due to COVID-19.
As I mentioned earlier, if you’re hungry, you can go out halfway through and go back in and read the manga.
Kokura station on the sidelines is a major transportation hub.
With the Shinkansen, the bus to the airport, and the ferry connecting to the Kansai region, it’s a great space to use your waiting time!
In the northern hemisphere, where the nights get longer, why not take the time to read a comic or book?
As a measure against COVID-19, you will be asked to provide your name and address when you enter the museum.
If you register your transportation IC card, you won’t need to do so next time.
