As a continuation of the Knowledge sharing sessions for Local Guides in Sri Lanka 2017 initiative, this meet-up is organised.
This time I am going to do a meet-up with the Southern Province Local Guides. This will mainly focus on how Google Map has helped to reduce traffic in Sri Lanka and how local guides can contribute more to reduce it further.
This presentation will be in Sinhala. I am going to use the Sinhala translation of the Local Guides presentation with some modifications.

@AnuradhaP wow, another beautiful knowledge sharing session
definitely I will be there to share my Knowledge with you all. Please confirm the date and time.
Last year I did two sessions with the students from the University of Jayawardanapura in English, then I converted the same presentation into Tamil language and presented it to students at a school in Batticaloa.
I love when people ask questions regarding LG and GM and feel happy when I answer all of them
I’m hosting the third session at Batticaloa School next week (11th April) and receiving lots of positive comments.
Also, I’m encouraging everyone to make HO sessions and Hangouts are the most suitable way to get communicate with local guides overcoming the geographical barriers.
I have posted some tips regarding Hosing HO "12 Tips for a Successful Hangout "
