Gracias @Nosaint2_Rafael_Fe por éste alentador mensaje, lleno de esperanza en especial para aquellos que vivimos en ciudades que aún permanecen cerradas por la pandemia, como en mí caso. También celebro que el turismo comience a reactivarse de a poco y con todas las medidas de precaución necesarias, por las personas que viven y trabajan en turismo y para aquellos que esperamos volver a viajar algún día.

Hola @SilvyC , Gracias por tus palabras, la presion economica del Pais, ha obligado al Gobierno a tomar la apertura del Turismo como incentivo. Aun la pandemia nos golpea, los casos no Han bajado. Como punt o postivo, los Protocolos de seguridad son estrictos en los Hoteles.

Your message of Love and Faith is a welcome one @Nosaint2_Rafael_Fe . Hopefully international tourism will return to its former level sooner rather than later however, sadly I think it will be some time yet which, as well as being very restrictive on business, family and pleasure travelers, will make things very, very difficult for many tourism businesses (e.g. airlines, hoteliers, cafes, restaurants, entertainment and amusement places etc) and operators (travel agents and tour guides etc). While I was lucky to squeeze in a couple of months overseas earlier this year in February and March, I am facing the unlikelihood of being able to complete my holiday plans for 2020 or visit my family in the U.S.

Hi @AdamGT . I’m at the believe that each Government is looking for a balance to keep safe people, and keep the economy running. Here in Puerto Rico, we still have cases in Hospital with covid19. We are experience a slow opening at tourism, but regular commercial business is now open. Each individual must perform his analisys and decision to just go to work and then home, or if he will expose himself to crowded places in between, like visit grocery store, church, restaurants, etc. Those that can work from home, still do it. Others like me, need to go to job site, where the employeer is responsible to keep a sanitized work area or environment. We still using mask, and they take us the temperature to each employee before work schedule time. Its a gambling. So we are holding our positive thought each day.
Yes I agree with you @Nosaint2_Rafael_Fe that governments are and need to look for a balance between health and economic activity and it’s great to hear about the disciplined approach being taken by employers in Puerto Rico including the place where you work when it comes to the health and well being of employees regarding this COVID-19. However, the point of my earlier reply is that I really cannot see that international travel will recover so easily. In fact, sadly I think it will take some years before many countries will allow international visitors and those that do may not have the volume of internationals wanting to travel overseas. I do hope that I’m wrong but time will tell!
