In the countryside of Rio Grande do Norte State, Brazil exist a location interested to simulate Mars: Habitat Marte. There already was conducted twelve research missions; the first occurred in December 2017. Habitat Marte receives technically oriented visits from schools and universities that are interested in space science (UFRN, for instance, has a group of students interested in rocket propulsion research and development). Habitat Marte spurs students by challenging them to think disruptively. We also take lectures outside the research station to other parts of the state to spark children’s interest in space science and technology.
