The bag I received at the Namaste India Summit by Local Guides has already become a part of my everyday routine.
I came back from the summit today, and on the very same day, I took this bag with me while going to the local market for groceries. Instead of taking a plastic bag, I simply carried this one with me. It’s such a small thing, but honestly, it feels good knowing that I’m doing my little bit to avoid unnecessary plastic.
But for me, this bag is much more than just something I carry while shopping. A few people noticed it while I was out and asked me about the bag. And every time someone asks, I feel genuinely proud telling them about Local Guides and the Namaste India Summit.
I get to talk about the summit, the amazing people I met, the conversations, and the experience I’ve just come back from. And somehow, a simple question about a bag turns into an opportunity to share a memory that is still so fresh. 
What I love most is that this bag keeps me connected to the summit even after coming back home. Every time I see it, I’m reminded of the people I met, the energy, the conversations, the laughter, and all those little moments that made the summit so special. And honestly, seeing it today while doing something as simple as grocery shopping made me smile. 
I could have kept it somewhere at home as a memory, but I’m actually happier using it. Now, even my regular grocery trips have a little piece of the summit with them and maybe that’s what I like most about it.
A memory that I don’t just keep, I carry it with me.
