KASHMIR!!!
When the name (Kashmir) whispering in my ear, I just felt excited!
I am local guide and I love to share my travel history. I am from Bangladesh and I plan for visit at Kashmir last year in 2018.
Kashmir travelling is one of my dreams. And finally my dream came true. Finally I visited Kashmir.
I fly to Kashmir from Ahmadabad, my transit was at Delhi and after 4hours of transit I again started my journey to Kashmir by air.
I was little bit nervous because that time heavy rain fall occurs and our plane delayed.
After 1hour 30mins, finally I landed Srinagar International Airport of Jammu & Kashmir and felt that I was landed at heaven.
In my team there were 7 people.
We booked one car and went to Dal Lake. I was just astonished when I saw the view of the river and also boat house. We booked one boat house and stayed there 2days.
Everyone have to remember that, there were no Mobile networks for connect with family members of our own country. So you have to do STD calls.
In Srinagar there are many beautiful places named below:
- Dal Lake
- Nehru Garden
- Mughal Garden
- Nisthat Bahg
- Shalimar Bagh
- Hazratbal Shrine
- Dal Lake ride(Shikara)
- Tulip Garden
- Jamia Masjid
- Pari Mahal
- Nagin Lake
- Chasma-e-Shahi
After visited these place, we visited Gulmarg! It’s situated at an altitude of 2730 m above sea level, Gulmarg is surrounded by snow covered mountains, lush green meadows, deep ravines, evergreen forested hills and valleys.Known for its scenic beauty, Gulmarg has also been a popular destination for shooting of various Bollywood films. The cable car here is also one of the prime attractions here and is the 2nd highest cable car in the world.
Pahalgam, one of the most beautiful places in the world.
From Srinagar to Pahalgam there is not that much distance. There is only 90km distance and took 2hour 30mins only.
In Pahalgam we visited many places:
- Aru Valley
- Betaab Valley
- Chandanwari
- Golfing
- Lidder Amusement Park
- Baisaran
We spend a memorable and very beautiful time in Kashmir!
The thing was, as a Muslim I try to found mosque nearby that I can pray timely. But I couldn’t found mosque sometime and there information also. So I decided that I add mosques in the map including review and photos.
So, whenever I pass any mosque, I capture photos and went there for gather more information. I also input that women can pray there or not. Are there any ablutions for women/men or not.
So, I love to work with mosque.
We spend total 11days at Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam!
Kashmiri fruits and flowers are awesome. We bought a full cartoon of Apple. That was very testy. Kashmiri biriyani is also one of a best dish.
At the night time Dal Lake shikari is just remarkable.
First time I ride on the horse and that was my memorable incident in my whole lifetime!!
I wish I can go to Kashmir again and again!
