Hi to all the Local Guides!
There are many places in the city of Lahore which is also famous for its historical buildings to visit but I love to see animals that is why I selected and as a Local guide I would strongly recommend to the other local guides to must visit Lahore Zoo for this purpose and I am proud of my decision. The Zoo is located on the mall road which is one of the busiest and famous road of the city Lahore.
So, after I reached in the Parking space I saw the weather was cloudy and rain was expected then I prayed for just cloudy weather and determined myself for the photo shoot of amazing animals in the zoo.
Firstly, I bought tickets for myself and for my family, then I moved on to the entrance as I entered first section of the zoo was Monkeys of different types which was worth to see because they playing with each other and the public was giving them food whatever they have.
Next section was for Hippopotamus, I got amazed to see the size of him as he was moving in his area. So, I saw only one Hippopotamus which can be consider as a giant animal.
Now as we moved to the next section, we saw mesmerizing Peacocks with their beautiful feathers were attracting towards them. The best thing about Peacocks were the shades of their feathers which was looking stunning as they move.
As we moved further the next section was of Lions and Tigers. There were so many lions there as I was not expecting, with some tigers also. Firstly, I saw some old Lion who was roaring and we can listen his voice from far distance also, then there were some young Lions who were catching the attention of the public. As I moved forward, I saw a Tiger it would be a Bengal Tiger which was moving ferociously, then I saw a Siberian tiger who was looking cool and calm.
Our next section was of Birds, there were so many birds even I could not remember the types but blue and gold Macaw was awesome, moreover there were so many colorful parrots which were worth to watch.
Next section of the zoo was of deer, there were so many deers, which were looking busy in the eating, but the Barasingha deer was grabbing the attention of public with his charming horns, there were also many kinds of species of deers in the zoo.
Lastly, I also saw other animals like Tortoise, Black Bear, Rhinoceros, Fox, some snakes, ducks, and a Gorilla .The sad news which was about the zoo and for the local public, there was no Elephant there because in the month of May,2017 the Elephant named Suzi died.
