As a local guide I have the confidence to travel and know a place based on the reviews of the community and thanks to Google Maps arrive to the place without knowing the route.
The fact that my photos and reviews help many people to discover incredible places fills me with motivation to continue discovering new places.
Thats why in this story I want to share everything I discovered on my last trip and my best company was the community of local guides.
Before traveling, we looked for the places to stay with the best rating given by the community and we found one that we loved, at a good price and in a good location.
We started our adventure in San Andrés and we found a perfect place on google maps called Eco Park West View, perfect to enjoy the crystal clear water of the sea and have a contact with the fish, you pay 6 thousand Colombian pesos per person to enter and they give you a few bits of bread to feed the fish, you can rent a snorkel to be able to see them underwater and enjoy how everyone surrounds you and they approach with great confidence
The place also has a great trampoline and slide to jump directly into the sea, we really enjoyed this experience thanks to the good reviews of the site.
We looked for lunch a place that had a very good rating and we found Donde Francesca, a sea food restaurant next to the beach with an incredible view and its decoration was unique, each dish was a delight and perfectly combined with the ocean view.
After a wonderful day we went to the hotel to rest and then get ready to go to eat, we wanted sushi so we searched in google maps until we found a place with a good rating, we walked to the place and we really enjoyed a delicious and incredible dinner at Shima Sushi Coffee bar.
and to end this story in San Andres I want to show you one of the best experiences on the island, a tour that we found thanks to the community in a place called Eco Fiwi, they have transparent kayaks that take you through the mangroves and to Incredible places full of fish and crystal clear waters, the guides are excellent and teach you about the starfish and jellyfish, at the end of the tour they offer you some delicious snacks typicals of the island.
