At the end of the summer last year my wife and I went on our honeymoon. She always wanted to drive out to the east coast of Canada. It took a couple weeks, one week there and one week back. When I was not distracted by the events of the day I took time to try and catalog our adventure the best a novice Google Guide could with reviews and pictures at the various pit stops.
I don’t know about anyone else but I always feel like its a competition to get the most views on a particular picture. So I’m always trying unique ways of advertising a company or getting artistic angles on the subject. Even though I wrote some successful reviews for a few different restaurants and took pictures of gorgeous vineyards, giant lobsters, lighthouses and breathtaking views it mattered very little in the grand scheme of getting the most viewed photo of that trip. For the stealer of the show was a picture of my Quizno’s sub in the middle of a pepper bar, in the middle of of a gas station, in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of New Brunswick.
I like to think I’m learning a valuable lesson here, and that lesson is to just take pictures of everything cause you just never know what other people will find interesting and valuable.
