A great cooking class in Rishikesh

Hi friends,
I complained for a long time about the situation here in Israel with our denied access for contributing to the map.
My solution for this was to spend a lot of our spending even when flying is super expensive and take some time to travel abroad. We visited India last month for my birthday (40!!) and had a great time there.

I wanted to share with you a great experience we had in Rishikesh.
A COOL AND PROFESSIONAL COOKING CLASS! :yum:
This class called Cooking Masala and is located in the village Tapovan.
We met Amit Jain and he was our teacher but we also read about his wife Neelam that teaches the same course.
We met all their family and loved everyone of them!

The cooking class was very informative and they sent us many recipes after to cook at home.
They also own a great Spice shop in the village called Jain spice shop and from there we bought many spices for us and as presents for family.

Getting home with all the Indian smells and being able to try and create some of our favorite Indian dishes was a great add on to our trip!

SUPER RECOMMENDED!!

Indian food is super good and I love it!
it is not only famous but also very healthy and known as a medicine sometimes.
We learned some principles from The ancient Indian medical system, also known as Ayurveda.
I hope we will have more options to cook our self and maybe learn some more in the future :slightly_smiling_face:
