I never thought that I would try making a cake in a pressure cooker but advise from a friend hyped me to try it out. I followed her recipe and the results were more than my expectations.
Thanks for sharing your cake. It’s great to try out new recipes once in a while and improve your cooking skills. How long did it take you to prepare this dessert? Did you use many ingredients? Feel free to share them in your post and other Local Guides may try this cake at home.
@MoniDi Thank You, ma’am, for your kind suggestion. I’ll sure consider your advice next time I’ll try something out, for now, I’ll put my recipe in comments bellow.
Blend the biscuits to a fine powder then add sugar and baking powder. Mix well all the dry ingredients.
Add warm milk and mix it till it becomes a smooth paste. Let it rest for 15-20 min
Take a steel bowl and apply little oil on the walls then pour the cake batter into the bowl.
(Applying oil would result in easy extraction of cake from bowl. You can also use parchment paper)
Boil some water in a cooker then place the bowl containing batter in it and cover both the cooker and bowl.
(Covering the bowl is must otherwise all the steam would go into the bowl and make the cake watery. Make sure you remove the whistle from the pressure cooker. Also instead of the pressure cooker, you can use an electric kettle with larger diameter)
Cook for about 30min then remove the cake from bowl.
