A gluten free journey

As a coeliac living in a country where almost nobody knows what this is, I often get surprised to find a restaurant or small shop that offers gluten-free options. Many pictures and reviews I added on Google Maps are related to this topic, as I find it useful for other people eating food with no gluten.

When you are on a gluten free diet, you really need to seek advice from other people, so you know if there is a good place to eat or not.

Since I had a smartphone, I loved taking pictures of nice good looking food. From this point, it was just a step to start posting the pictures as reviews on Google maps. As I started to spend my vacations in different countries, I decided to try different restaurants which offer gluten-free options.

Meat and Italian food are my favorites, but who would have thought that the best gluten free Italian food will be in Canada? In Toronto, I found many gluten - free options such as ribs, pizzas, pastas and much more.

No doubt, going to Madrid, was the best option for me to find the biggest sweets shop with gluten free cookies. Isn’t that amazing? I also ate here one of the best Tapas and drank tasty gluten-free alcoholic drinks.

I believe everyone should be able to eat the right foods for them, so I really hope that my journey around the world would help people with gluten free diet to easily find the places suitable for their needs.

There are a few favorite restaurants in Bucharest, Romania such as Belli Siciliani https://www.bellisiciliani.eu/

or in Canada St. Louis Bar & Grill https://www.stlouiswings.com/

and in Spain Celicioso Hortaleza. I recommend those places, if you go there, enjoy!
