Let me start by introducing myself, My name is Shineyu Khanna, and I am an Engineering Graduate from India.
When I was born, my single mother looked at me with glittering eyes and decided to name me Shineyu (meaning Shining) as I was the only ray of sunshine in her life. 
Growing up, I was always the support system for my mother, and she looked up to me whenever she needed courage. It turned out I always enjoyed being the helping hand to her.
This passion of mine has been in me ever since. 
When I grew older and more familiar with Technology, my journey as a local guide started with a motto of helping others discover the undiscovered.
Who knew that I could be someone’s Guide without even having to know them.
It gave me immense pleasure to share my ideas, my reviews with people who needed it the most.
With time I realized that being a Local Guide is a responsible work and just as important. I could see how my country is rebuilding and evolving when people like me are sharing photos and videos of the place they love while contributing to building a more robust and lively nation.
Local Guide gave me an identity, whereas Google Maps gave me a platform where I could actively contribute and share my ideas with anyone around the globe.
I have always been this Glimpse of Hope to my mom, to the community who trust me with my reviews and to be this ray of continuous sunshine by actively contributing to making life easy for everyone.
Being a Local Guide is a badge of honor that I wear with audacity.
