Queensland is the second biggest State of Australia positioned North East of the country with a mixed climate pattern ranging from sub-tropical in South East region to tropical in far North East and Central parts. As mentioned Brisbane is the capital city of Queensland and is in South East region. The city was built on the bank of Brisbane river around 1800. Today Brisbane is one of the fastest growing cities in Australia. I am not from Brisbane but from Gold Coast, a beautiful city built right on a white sand beach strip stretching over 60 kms from South to North and is about less than 1 hour drive South of Brisbane. Every now and then on certain occasions I make my way to Brisbane mainly to attend shows, concerts, musicals, cultural events or just simply to see how much Brisbane has changed.
The other day, there was a cultural event taking place in Southbank Parklands of Brisbane: the Buddha Birthday Festival which I really wanted to participate in. So off I went. I caught a train to Brisbane to see the Festival. It was an awesome festival with lots of things to see and do. Oh did I say food as well. Yes yummy vegetarian cuisines and some non vegetarian varieties as well. That will be in another post. This post is about my quick walk covering a corner of Brisbane City as I didn’t have time to do the entire city. Oh wow it looks much nicer than few years ago. I couldn’t help getting my phone oyt and snap some photos. If you visit Brisbane make sure to do a city walk. It is worth it. Here are some snapshots from my quick city walk. Hope you enjoy.
Hi @locbuuloc , very nice pictures, thank you for sharing them.
I like Brisbane as well, very vibrant and nice city, have visited it few months ago, below a picture of the Story Bridge from the Eagle Street pier side.
Oh sorry @locbuuloc , perhaps you meant my signature? That’s why it is in Italian otherwise I won’t be writing you in another language which you need to translate to understand.
Anyway that sentence is for everyone, so if you felt yours keep it .
