A Friday in BSP (Bandar Saujana Putra) - Farmers' Market

Date/Time of Posting: 14-December-2020 MYT14:18

BSP (Bandar Saujana Putra) is located about 40 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and it is 25 minutes driving passing two (2) Toll Plaza; Plaza Tol KLIA and Plaza Tol Elite Highway Bandar Saujana Putra.

What’s so special on Friday in BSP?

In the square compound area with a dimension of 300 by 300 feet, the Kuala Langat Municipal Council has gazetted this area for Farmer’s Market business activity managed and handled by FAMA (Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority) with the business operation is allowed from 4 pm to 10 pm every Friday only. The main function monitored by FAMA is to ensure that all vendors/sellers abide by the stipulated rules and regulations e.g. the selling products quality must up to mark, as well as, the selling prices are not beyond open market available out there. To make all these things come true, FAMA has stationed field-officer-in-charge as a practical way to listen to any query or complaint that would be lodged by patrons. Especially, to supervise the inflow of patrons to the Farmers Market following the #SOP recommended by the Ministry of Health (Malaysia) like wearing a face mask, registering attendance, register their name completely with the cellphone number, and body temperature (forehead) check. Finally, sanitize their hands with the provided liquid sanitizer.

A WALK AROUND IN THE FARMERS’ MARKET, BANDAR SAUJANA PUTRA (BSP).

First and foremost, let me share my attendance registration by scanning the displaying MySejahtera QR Code recommended by the Ministry of Health (Malaysia) upon my entry. Starting my storytelling-photo evidence-sharing on here following my footstep walking anti-clockwise direction.
