A Family Who Eats Together, Stays Together

I don’t know about you, but one of my family’s favorite things to do is EAT. We love to frequent our favorite local haunts, and our vacations often revolve around trying out new restaurants. I rely on local guides and their reviews to find local establishments we can support while we are in a new place. We don’t just eat anywhere though; we often search out the hole-in-the-wall, the traveling food truck, the little-known diamond in the rough because we’ve discovered that’s where you can find the best food and the friendliest people. The truth is behind every great restaurant is great people: people who spend their life (and looooong hours) serving you and everyone else who walks through their door or up to their counter. I’m from a very small town, and many times the small town restaurants get left out on Google Maps; they don’t get tons of reviews, yet they perform tireless work to serve the people of their local community. I love being a local guide to help these local restaurants, these small but mighty places and give them a bit of notoriety. I love to let them know that people appreciate what they do and the service they provide to the local community. While we may not have a lot of tourists, we do have people traveling through, and much like me, they may turn to Google Maps for reviews of local establishments, so they can get a terrific taste of the West Georgia area.

So, if you’re ever heading down I-20 west of Atlanta, and you get the chance to go through Carrollton or Bowdon, check Google Maps to find the best food in the West Georgia area!
