Located in the vicinity Of Jadavpur, Bawarchi is much a common eatery for the residence. I went in for a gala dinner to celebrate my parents’ anniversary. The place does not believe in over-the-top decorations and holds minimum decoration. Their concentration and focus all lie on food – which they serve really well.
Before I move on to food, here are some of the other factors that stood out for me was their service. Their staff is very friendly and treats their customer well. They also help in deciding on the tasty food combination to go for. Besides, the order did not take much time to be served and the serving was highly pleasing to the eyes. Also, they maintained proper hygiene and cleaning. They have a spacious sitting arrangement with a homely ambience.
Moving on the food, the items we ordered were –
- Chicken reshmi & tikka kebabs – Succulent juicy pieces of perfectly cooked chicken along with a zest of lime make it a scrumptious dish to increase one’s appetite. They also offer onion rings to compliment the kebabs.
- Pan-fried fish – The spring onions and the perfectly fried fishes, with a bit of tanginess and spiciness makes it a perfect appetizer.
- Noodles – Highly satisfied with the appetizers and being almost full we decided to end the dinner with some noodles. The poached egg on the top makes a huge difference. The yolk complements the tangy flavor of the soy sauce and makes it perfect for the last dining item.
My parents’ anniversary was well spent and ended on a sumptuous note.
