We’ve all seen all the photos and videos on Google Maps that are contributed by people ourselves. which are extremely helpful for those trying to explore and reach out for new experiences. I have been doing so for a couple of months now and thought to myself that why not bring in a different perspective and show how beautiful our Earth is from a whole new angle. This is when my passion for drone photography started seeping into Google Maps. I have been flying camera drones for the past two years and have seen places which are otherwise unseen. It took me a couple of months to get half of flying, took several crashes to actually get a good hold of the drone. Eventually, I started taking the drone with me to all the places I visited on my vacations. Later on, it happens so that the drone became a reason for me to go out there, explore the endless experiences and share a unique perspective with the World. The drone shots not only help people understand the vastness of the place but also pushes them to get out and see it for themselves. One of my favourite places I visited was in Oregon where a resident bought a retired Boeing 747 and repurposed it as his home. He was extremely kind and showed me around and even allowed me to click aerial pictures of his plane home.
I intend on contributing more and more to Google Maps as a Local Guide and eventually hold meet-ups with like-minded people.
