A day on Coyoacan

Well, i like to start this post with a little description of Coyoacan; is a municipality (alcaldía) of Mexico City and the former village which is now the borough’s “historic center.” The name comes from Nahuatl and most likely means “place of coyotes and for me the second place with more history in this city.

So now you are here, the best place to start its visiting the catedral where you can find great art and design inside, this is one of three oldest churches in Mexico City.

You have to make a stop at Cafe el Jarocho, were you can order a traditional coffe or some delicius chocolate. the awesome of this place its that you can see the grinding process of coffe.

For eat you must visit Pepe coyotes, where you can eat some traditional tacos and some margaritas!!! My recommendation its Tacos al Pastor.

For dessert and last but not least, you can have a delicius and traditional ice cream and find a spot to sit and enjoy the sun set where a lot of people its starting or ending their day.

PS. Dont forget and buy anything from the merchants, some of their things are hand made!
