My last travel was in Copenaghen, Denmark, with my girlfriend.
It was a great experience and It was the first time, for both, to explore a Scandinavian country.
Adding this post i want to share with my experience, my feelings about this amazing country and to help travellers to discover something new about Copenhagen, and not the the well-known tourist spots. Here’s a look at some of the places I’ve discovered during my travel.
Are you ready? Let’s start
Let’s start with Langelinie a pier, promenade and park in Copenhagen. Home of the Little Mermaid statue, this area has been a popular destination for excurisons and strolls.
I really loved to walk in this park surrounded by nature, sea, trees and birds, It was realy relaxing.
Walking down this park you’ll arrive to Nyhavn, a 17th-century waterfront, canal and entertainment district in Copenhagen. It is lined by brightly coloured townhouses, bars, cafes and resturants and though it is a well-known spot for everyone, It is a must visit in this city.
Then let’s continue with Christiania, an international community and commune of about 1000 residents. This is an hippie community where people lives and works indipendently. It is open to visitors but don’t take photos.
Have you walked all the day and you feel a bit hungry? No problem, Rosie McGee’s has all what you need. Super hamburgers, chips, beer, wine and fun. The perfect place to end a day in Copenhagen.
I hope with this post to help youto discover something new about Copenhagen and inspire you to travel to this city for discover by yourself something new!
