I like to share on Google Maps places and venues that I visit in my fluctuation between Italy and United States. In fact, for three years I have become a ‘commuter’ between La Spezia, Liguria (Italy) and San Francisco. I was born, I reside and I work, in the tourism sector, in and for a very tourist area, the Cinque Terre, a very loved and attended destination mostly by Americans.
Do not forget that, beyond the Cinque Terre, there are other beautiful and characteristic villages along the coast. You can discover many other hidden corners and bays that are real jewels and, because they are out of the tourist routes, can be difficult to be found even for those who live/stay in the area but are not locals.
When you live in a place many things are taken for granted, as The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry used to say: "The essential is invisible to the eye, it is only with the heart that you can really see”.
I like to provide contributions as a Local Guide because I believe that, in order to observe in depth everything, it is necessary listen to your own feelings and emotions and only then we will be able to transfer/share information and useful knowledge to other people just because we were the first to experience it.
