Dhaka is one of the densely populated city in the world. The city is overcrowded and congested due to unplanned urbanization. Considering the need of permanent housing for lower and middle income people, government establish planned housing facility name RAJUK Uttara Apartment Project , Dhaka to accommodate people in a better environment.
The architectural view of the high-rise apartments are really nice and the color of the buildings also very beautiful. The touch of modernity can be felt in color & architectural view of the apartments.
It looks like a massive housing project @SirajulAzad . Do you know how many homes in total there are? Also, are there shops, cafes, restaurants and entertainment complexes nearby for all these people?
Yes this is largest Planned Apartment Project in Bangladesh. So far i got to know, there will be 183 nos. building (16 storied per Apartment Building including one basement floor), around 15,500 flats will be constructed. Almost 70% project work done.
All community facilities ( School, Collage, market complex and Community hall etc) will be there.
I heard that the environment around this project is very beautiful. I wanted to go there. But I can’t go because of the lockdown. I hope to go there once the lockdown is over.

Maybe, there will be 79 nos. building (16 storied per Apartment Building including one basement floor, per floor 6 flats), around 7,110 flats will be construction.
Yes the project area is really beautiful. I have recently visited that are due to urgent work. The colour of the building impressed me to click some pictures.
