A clear photo of food speaks more than a thousand words!

My favorite thing to share on Google Maps is, by far, good quality photos of food!

It’s frustrating to think about how often I order something off of a menu that sounds delicious in its text description, but comes out looking (and tasting…) completely different than what was expected. I started opening Google Maps to take a look at photos of food I’m about to order, but a lot of the times, those photos were lacking and didn’t really help.

And that’s why I’ve begun taking matters into my own hands! By contributing to Google Maps’ photo library, I like to believe I’m helping others make the right choice about what they’re going to chow down on – or at the very least, I’m helping my future self if I ever go back to that same restaurant and forget what to order!
