This was taken at my uncle’s cottage, I actually hung around until it’s exoskeleton and wings were hardened so it stood a chance ? Taken on a Pixel 2 XL with a moment macro lense.

Thank you for the in-depth images you’ve shared with us.
At first, I honestly thought those pictures were taken with a professional camera, and then I saw the description.
The fact that those photos were taken with a smartphone camera is beyond belief.
By the way do you know that macro photography was originally developed for scientific research, scientists attached to microscopes cameras in order to photograph microscopic items?

The Pixel 2 has been an absolutly amazing camera and paired with a selection of moment lenses it is just that much better. I will be posting some more shots using the macro and wide-angle lense
