Hi, my LG friends…
Every year on April 13th, people around the world come together to celebrate International
Plant Appreciation Day — a day dedicated to recognising the incredible role that plants
play in our lives and helping our planet.
I read the challenge post created by TG Sir., and as a ‘Nature Lover’,
@TravellerG
I am responding to his challenge.

Plants are extremely essential to life - in fact, all living beings depend on plants and trees for their existence.
They produce the oxygen we breathe, provide food, medicine, and shelter.
They are very essential to regulate our climate and reduce carbon in the atmosphere.
Even an indoor plant offers beauty, calm, and inspiration to our daily lives.
This day is a gentle reminder to remember our relationship with nature and our Mother Earth.
Let’s grow our appreciation, nurture the planet, and share the love for the green wonders around us.

I’m removing the “In the news” tag from your topic as it is not used correctly in this case. The tag should be used if you have your story about your Local Guides or Google Maps achievements featured in any news outlets, local or online.

Using the right tags on your topics makes it a breeze for other Local Guides to find what they’re looking for in the community.
