I am Ajay, a level five local guide from India. My country has 29 states and people speak more than 50 languages in their places. So consider if person goes to the place where he can’t speak the local language and needs a direction to reach a certain place. As he can not talk local language it is so difficult to get the direction to the required location. Here comes google maps to the rescue of the man. The main reason i contribute is language should not be barrier to reach destiation.
The happiest part is because of contnributions local business are getting global exposure through a right platform maps.
The word near me changed the way we search the direction , for example petrol bunks near me kind of lines make our life easier.
A famous quote says “How many ways you find, there is always an unexplored way”. Using technology advancements and with the helop of maps there should not be any unexplored way.
The UI of local guide program drive me one more step ahead to contribte more and to help more. It is user friendly and enables a local to contribute more.
