What do people think of a category where you can ask questions?

on my understanding of your question, I would suggest that if you have any questions related to Google Maps, you can post them in the ‘How-tos’ section of the ‘Google Maps Tips & Tricks’ category.
I don’t understand why you choose feature request.

I agree that the help desk is well hidden after the latest redesign and not intuitively named. It makes no sense that questions related to Connect and our community need to be posted and found in the category called Google Maps Tips & Tricks.
I speculate that this was a compromise considering not having too many categories and a wish to signal that Maps Support questions should be handled in the Google Maps Help Community and not here on Connect.
Dispite many Local Guides expecting to get help on any Maps related issue here on Connect, the LG Team has been more focussed on building community, celebrating achievements, events and meet-ups rather than trouble shooting Maps related challenges. It is likely because there is a big overlap between the two fora.
I wish it was that simple @MortenCopenhagen. You may remember me stating a few times before, that I found Connect because of a volunteer in the Google Maps Help Community suggesting this was the better place to get help with my problem. I thought it was an incorrect suggestion, and I didn’t get the help I needed, but it certainly was an opening to discover this wonderful Local Guides posse.
What if we had a link here to Google Maps Help Community in the categories section?
What if some of the questions actually pertain to Connect platform etc?
What if we had both?
A category called Questions for Connect
And another as a link to Google Maps Help Community?
Speaking of Google maps help community
I have not been able to get a solution to my problem with the inaccurate location pin for a non existing peak h The Pinnacles in Western Australia in Nambung national park that I post a little while go in the Google maps help community.
Any further suggestions after posting there and not getting any solutions?
My best tip is to make it extremely easy for the volunteer Product Experts to escalate. That means make sure you have attached proper authoritative Maps to document the correctness of your request. They will and cannot trust individuals.
If a mountain peak is located near a border you might need good evidence from both countries. Often a peak can be named differently across borders.
You could also share the link to your post with @NareshDarji who is also a product expert.
The thing is there is no peak here
