A calm reflection, Phnom Tbaeng Meanchey (Part III)

I really enjoyed camping at Phnom Tbaeng. Did I mention it somewhere that the mountain is very famous for meditation? It is not only a great place for adventure, you can try meditation here as well. The quietness of the mountain interests people who love to come here and practice meditation and similar activities up here.

Hence, y previous two posts are below. You may want to read them to get a full picture of camping on Phnom Tbaeng Meanchey. I decided to break them into parts as they are under different topics.

I believe you enjoyed viewing some photos and information there. However, I still have two favorite photos from the early morning I took from the camping site. The photo about the stream, its reflection and it being used in daily life. They are daily life, not staged. I just happened to be waking up earlier and witnessed this.

  1. The first photo is about the cook who was taking water by using a basket to cook food for us.
  2. The second photo is about leader of the community, or the founder of this camping site was brushing his teeth by using the water from the stream.

Since it is in the middle of the jungle and on the mountain, the water is clean and very good for using. We took a bath or swim in here. We are totally surrounding by nature. In the first night, I even bathed in the rain which was so cold but recalled my past when I was a kid. We bathed in the rain very often!
