Went for a short ride on last Sunday(27th Feb) with friends to a place earlier named as “Chota Ladakh” and don’t ask me the reason why! I am glad that now the name is changed to “Dodda Iyyur Rock Quarry” on google maps also 
It is a dip kinda place made of quarry mining and bombing that used to happen around here and that created a huge hole which is now having rainwater stored along with ground water coming out which made it a small lake kind of a place.
It is beautiful if you go before it gets hot. We went there at around 7;45 AM and spent around 30-40 mins sitting there and taking pictures.
While returning stopped for a breakfast at Annapurna restaurant which is around 10 KMs before the Hoskote toll gate towards Bangalore. Decent place with good quality food and Filter coffee was too good.
