A Boat Journey on Meghna River Bank at Chandpur

Assalamualaikum Local Guides!
I hope you are all well by the grace of Allah. Today, I am going to share my beautiful travel Story and some pictures with you. Last year I visited Chandpur & travelled by boat on the Meghna River. It was a memorable journey. I hope everyone will enjoy these pictures.

Chandpur Town stands on the bank of the River Meghna. The Meghna River is an important river in Bangladesh. The river meets Padma River in Chandpur District. The river ends in the Bay of Bengal in Bhola District. The Meghna is the widest river of those that are completely inside Bangladesh. At one point near Bhola, Meghna is 12 km wide. In its lower parts this river follows almost a straight line. Boro station is located in Chandpur near the River Port of Chandpur. Our boat journey start from here. Many boatmen stand here with boats. Whenever a traveler comes, they make a deal with them. We went in the afternoon so we deal 300 taka for 1 hour.

Here you can see a nice sunset view. For taking a refresh mind i suggest here you to come. Its located in Chattagram Division of Bangladesh.

How you can come here:

There are 2 ways to reach that place. It easy to come here by launch. From the capital city, come to Dhaka river port. It is about 3.5 hours to come here from Sadarghat Launch Terminal by launch. If you want to come here by bus. First you go to [Sayedabad Bus Terminal](http://There%20are 2/3 ways to reach that place) Then you catch the Chandpur district going buses. Chandpur bus stand to Chandpur River bank locally called it ‘Nodir par’ by autorickshaw or rickshaw. Yes you are here & explore the place.

Extraordinary boat trip on the river meghna. I went on a trip to the Shitalakshya river last year. It is good to see the waves of the river while traveling by boat .

ধন্যবাদ @MS_Pathan দাদা। এরকম একটি সুন্দর ভ্রমণ সকলের সাথে শেয়ার করার জন্য। বাংলাদেশ নদীমাতৃক দেশ, আমাদের পশ্চিমবাংলা ও বাংলাদেশের খাদ্য, সংস্কৃতি ও অনেকদিকেই অনেক মিল রয়েছে। আমাদের আদি বাড়ি পশ্চিমবাংলার সুন্দরবনের কাছেই সন্দেশখালি দ্বীপে। ছোটবেলায় নদীর যে রূপ দেখতাম, আজ আর তা নেই। নৌকা ভ্রমণ তখন ছিল দৈনিক ঘটনা।
আপনার ছবি গুলো অনেক সুন্দর। দেখে ওই দিন গুলোর কথা মনে পড়ে গেলো।
আমার নিজস্ব একটি মতামত হলো ফোনের ওয়াটারমার্ক গুলো ছাড়া ফটো গুলো আরো যেন পরিপূর্ণ হয়।
