Kareri Lake is a fresh water lake between the Dhauladhar range. It is at 2934 metres above the sea level. The source of water mainly is snow melting from the Dhauladhar range. It is one of the best trekking destinatin in Dhauladhars. A temple of Lord Shiva and Shakti is also on the bank of Kareri Lake. Trip Simply starts on foot from Kareri Village. The trek is full of beautiful scenery all around. After covering the trek when you reach at Kareri Lake, you will see how beautiful nature is.

Thanks for sharing this place with the community. Do you have more photos so that we could see the marvellous view? How long did it take you to reach it and was it hard? Would you recommend it to the elderly people?

@MoniDi Yes mam, I have a lot of photos. Will upload them soon.
It took us abour 3 to 4 hours to reach up there. Yes it was hard as you have to climb the mountain and there were steps of stones you have over them. I won’t suggest for people above 50 to go there as it may harm your leg joints.
