Being a food blogger with the name Bakasura Forever, I basically love the most to contribute on all the restaurants I visit. Bakasura is a mythological character who eats a lot. So with this name I initially started my food journey. When the food journey started, it wasn’t on google maps. But it moved into maps because of its genuine photos. Let me explain it to you. When I see photos of any restaurant on any other food app like Zomato, the photos there are usually by DSLR, a Food Blogger, A professional photographer. But when i see photos on Google maps, its basically by a common man like me and you. The photo is genuine, the photo is without any filter. This perspective of an image started to give me the actual experience of a place. How actual is the place in the night, how actual is the ambience in the day, and more. Hence, i made sure to keep that genuinity on maps.
Google maps also helps me explore a lot of local restaurants that are seriously very hard to find on other food apps. From my own experience, Zomato clearly shows all the restaurants that are registered with them, but avoids all the ones not registered. But maps shows all the restaurants that any guide has added up. It has even a small standing hotels without even dine-in options. Maps truly helps me explore food destinations better with genuine photos and reviews.
