Today, people around the world turn to Google Search to find information, learn about topics of interest, and make important decisions. The thing I like to contribute most on Google Maps is to uncover missing information. It could be in the form of correcting timings or adding a new phone number or a missing website or adding the first ever picture of a place altogether. The key is to rectify the information and provide information that never existed before. As a user of Google Maps, I am heavily dependent on such accurate information and realize the importance of having the up-to-date information available on fingertips, as and when required. Being a local guide gives me an opportunity to help all users equally by providing important information to make decisions every day, big or small. These could be as simple as finding directions to a place or purchasing a new mobile device or deciding to choose a university degree or medical help and many many more such possibilities.
Why do I like to contribute? Because I have a DREAM.
DREAM, in this context, is an acronym wherein D represents – Desire to WIN
R – Race to become better
E – strive for Excellence
A – Aim for Growth and not stability
M – Make this world a better place to live through GOOGLE MAPS
We live in an imperfect world. Google Maps is a replica of the globe. But there is a small difference – it has the capability to create a perfect ecosystem by empowering users to provide accurate/updated information at all times, impacting lives of thousands or millions, with one minor improvement at a time.
