I was able to travel to travel to Portugal and Spain from France for my one week winter break. I would like to share with you my travel experience and from my trip. I travelled almost entirely by train and almost always walked through each city that I’ve been in instead of taking a public transport.
Day 1
It was entirely travel, as I traveled from Strasbourg - Paris - Hendaye - Lisbon. I was able to see the Louvre as . I walked to change stations in Paris, and relaxed near the coast in Hendaye for a couple of hours as I waited for my train.
Day 2
I arrived early morning in Lisbon and checked into an musician’s place hosted by an Airbnb host. I walked to Castel St. Jorge, then to Roman history museum, and finally took a 2 hour boat ride to see the sunset and king Christ’s statue up close.
Day 3
I had to leave for Lagos, but my train was in the afternoon, so I checked out of my home and went to the Ocenaria before i boarded my train to arrive late in the evening to Lagos.
Day 4
Lagos was such a beautiful city, I stayed in one of the best rooms that I’ve ever been to in Monte de sabores.
Day 5
I went to the beach and went Kayaking for the first time in my life on the coast of Lagos in the Atlantic ocean.
Day 6
I missed my train to Madrid, so I took a train to Faro and carpooled to Seville to spend the night there.
Day 7
Visited the royal alcazar and the cathedral in Seville in the morning and took a train to Madrid.
Day 8
Visited the Santiago bernabeu and took a tour of the stadium as it was one of my life’s goals. Left for barcelona.
Day 9
Visited the beautiful city of Barcelona, parc de perdables is one of the beautiful places to visit, and the monastery there is a testament to the old times. Started to Strasbourg late at night.
Day 10
Arrived to Strasbourg in the morning and slept the entire day as I walked about 80kms in this trip and had classes the next day.
