Attention Local Guide Members

We are excited to announce that Bangladesh Local Guides is celebrating its 9th anniversary! To mark this special occasion, a small-scale Thanks Giving meet-up has been organized with a few invited guests.

We are thrilled to invite selected guests to celebrate the 9 Years Of BDLG at Meetup No: 206 on March 10, 2023. This celebration is only for invited guests, and the community management team will personally contact them.

As a community, we take pride in providing beautiful and accurate Bangladesh Google Maps information and Local Guides Connect Forum to highlight Bangladeshi content. In addition, we organize various activities to give back to society. Some of our charity activities include Ramadan-based charity, tree planting programs, renewable energy-based activities, and support for women entrepreneurs.

Over the past nine years, Bangladesh Local Guides Community has organized more than 200+ events on various topics, including education, culture, heritage, local festivals, tourism, popular food, and technology. We have also coordinated with local guides from India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal to organize some international events.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that the earlier name of this platform was “Bangladesh Insider” which was later named “Bangladesh Local Guides” since 2015.

While only invited guests can participate in this meet-up, we welcome everyone to join us in celebrating our 9th anniversary after Eid Ul fitr mega Meetup. To get a glimpse of our previous years’ celebrations, check out the links to our Connect posts below:
