75 Years of Independence 🇮🇳 75 interesting facts about India

India is celebrating its 75 years of independence, remembering our freedom fighters’ great struggle and the sacrifices they made for us to be here today.

On this occasion, I thought of sharing 75 Interesting facts about India with my fellow local guides from all over the world.

  1. Indian constitution is the world’s lengthiest, with 395 articles and 12 schedules.
  2. India is the largest democracy in the world.
  3. 54.3 % of India’s population is engaged in agricultural and allied activities.
  4. Varanasi in India is one of the oldest inhabited places in the world - 5000 years old.
  5. A meteor visited India and turned into Maharashtra’s Lonar lake about 52,000 years ago.
  6. The world’s only floating post office is in Dal Lake in Srinagar, India.
  7. India has a bill of rights for cows.
  8. India is the home to the largest number of vegetarians in the world.
  9. ISRO transported India’s first rocket on a bicycle in the year 1963.
  10. India is the largest milk producer in the world.
  11. Bandra-Worli Sea Link Has steel Wires Equal to Earth’s Circumference.
  12. Thousands of languages are spoken all over India - 19500 languages and dialects across India.
  13. 70% of world spices come from India, and the Spices trade is the starting point of India’s colonisation.
  14. The chess game was invented in India.
  15. India has over 3,00,000 mosques.
  16. India is home to 70% of the world’s tiger population.
  17. Tirupati Temple in Andhra Pradesh, India, attracts 50,000–90,000 visitors daily.
  18. India is home to 106 National parks and countless endangered animals.
  19. India is the 1st country to enter mars orbit on its maiden attempt.
  20. The cost of India’s mars mission is just 74 million USD.
  21. India was one of the world’s wealthiest countries before its colonisation.
  22. India has countless painting styles.
  23. India has the world’s largest diaspora population at 18 million.
  24. In India, there are around 705 tribes spread all over the country.
  25. In India, Sentinelese tribal people are one of the earth’s least contacted beings.

Other Facts : India invented Chess, Infinity, number zero “0”, shampoo and the first plastic surgery was done in India as well.

This is Kargil chock in Patna Bihar India (Gandhi maidan ) .This is amar jawan memorial this monument is associated with our real Indian hero who sacrifice their life for in war to protecting our border .

i celebrated my independence with my real hero of India ( Indian Army) . :india:

This is Round memorial dedicated to those soldiers who sacrifices their life’s for protecting India integrity and Border .This was built in 2000 in memory of kargil war soldiers who fight and protect my motherland India :india: .

In local story and kargil book refer that these solder fought like a lion is fighting in forest with wolf and smashing like tomato . Their stories of bravery and love for country is not comparable .They sacrifice their life but not allow enemy to inter inside our country .

Their contribution towards India is remarkable .Indian people and Indian history will always write their name with golden letter .
