I’m @Papel_Mahammud from Bangladesh. Contributing regularly on Google Maps has become more than just a hobby for me. Over time, it has become something I genuinely enjoy, especially when I know that my contributions can be useful to someone else.
Among the different types of contributions I make, answering questions on Google Maps has always been one of my favorite things to do. A simple answer about a place may seem small, but for someone planning a visit or trying to make a decision, it can sometimes be really helpful.
Today is another special day for me.
I’m happy to share that my total number of answered questions has crossed 75,000!
Reaching this milestone feels really special. A while ago, I shared a post here on Local Guides Connect when I reached 50,000 answered questions. For anyone interested, I’m sharing the link to that post here:

The journey from 50,000 to 75,000 has been another memorable part of my Local Guides experience. Some questions were very simple, while others made me think about my own experiences of visiting different places and what information might be useful to others.
What I like most about answering these questions is knowing that somewhere, someone may have found my answer helpful—perhaps it helped them choose a place, plan a visit, or simply save some time.
My journey hasn’t always been smooth. In the past, I lost a large number of my answers twice due to unexpected issues. It was disappointing, but I didn’t let that stop me from contributing. I started again, kept going, and eventually reached this 75,000 milestone.
For me, 75,000 is not just a number. It represents many small contributions made over time, with the hope that they can make Google Maps a little more useful for others.
And now, there’s a new goal ahead:
100,000 Answers!
