I hope you will be happy, my 7 years of journey with Google Maps.
I was very surprised to receive this (e-mail). I thought, this is the day I got the idea about Google Maps.
Honors received from Google Maps: Working on Google Maps is a volunteer job. In addition to this volunteer work, every year Google Maps rewards some local guides for good work. From Google Maps, I
Became a Guiding Star in 2022.
Became a Meetup Champion in 2023.
Google Maps and Connect Forum:
The way we solve all map-related problems on Google Maps. For example, adding new places, giving reviews, adding new roads, uploading pictures, deleting various spam-related places. We do all these things on Google Maps.
And the Connect Forum is,
- If there is a problem working on the map, discuss it.
- Highlight social work.
- Travel to historical and traditional places and give ideas about them.
- Give ideas about the food of different countries and different nations.
Finally, one thing:
I work in the village with Google Maps, so my photos get less views, less likes, and the people of the village are still not that aware of Google Maps.
