7 Local Guides photos that celebrate Prague's architecture

Have you ever walked around a city so mesmerized by the beauty of its buildings that you couldn’t stop looking up, even though your neck already started hurting and you’ve stumbled at least ten times?

The last time this happened to me was when I visited Prague, Czech Republic. Before going there, I read about Prague’s diverse architecture and was surprised at how the different styles complemented each other. The plethora of unique structures left me so amazed that I couldn’t help but feel like I was in a fairytale. I wanted to take a photo of every single building, regardless of whether it was a landmark or not.

October 7th is World Architecture Day, and I’m excited to share with you seven amazing photos of buildings in Prague, captured by Local Guides.

1. St. Vitus Cathedral, taken by Local Guide 孔祥柏

2. Church of Our Lady Before Týn, taken by Local Guide Teo Seoane

3. National Theatre, taken by Local Guide Bert Kohlgraf

4. Church of St. Anthony of Padua, taken by Local Guide Pasquale Quercia

5. National Gallery, taken by Local Guide Norbert Hambloch

6. The House at the Black Madonna, taken by Local Guide Dmitry Burstein

7. Dancing House, taken by Local Guide Alessandra Bertoni

@LilyanaZ , Prague is very photogenic that’s for sure.

Over in London, where to begin and when to end…? Looking upwards/down/sideways/behind, there are photo opp’s every which way a person turns.

I’m contributing two.

The marvellously shaped and imposing 20 Fenchurch Street (Walkie Talkie Building) bullies its way through any gaps between surrounding buildings.

This. It’s just my no rules applied perspective of a newly constructed skyscraper in the Liverpool Street area.

Wow! Prague is beautiful. No wonder, I get to hear so much about the city as a child. The architecture has so much history looking at the resemblance. So much work in the details. Thank you for sharing this. :kissing_closed_eyes: @LilyanaZ are you an architect?

Indeed Praha is one of the most beautiful cities around the world. I love the capital of CZ and the open minded people there.

When there where the ceremonies around Karel Gott it was sad, but the pictures from Prague and the people gave all a beautiful surrounding.

Everyone should visit this beautiful town!
