It’s the start of the long Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK (we’re off today) and I’m frantically putting together all the final pieces for tomorrow’s live stream of Quiz Connect’s grand finale.
If you’ve been following this virtual event which was announced way back in early April, we started out with 60+ applicants that got narrowed down to 10 teams of 5 members each. All 9 teams have completed their quiz and tomorrow, we will have the 10th and final team, Team Ninja Warriors 
, experience this fun and entertaining event!
Here are 6 reasons why I think you should watch this live stream:
1) Learn new things about Local Guides, Google Maps and the world around you!
Watching the live stream is not just about watching Team Ninja Warriors do the quiz! You are highly encouraged to test yourself too and I really want to know how well you do! There are 18 questions that are about the program, Google Maps and general knowledge so keep a paper in hand and make a note of how many questions you got right or wrong! Then come back to this post and let me know in the comments below! And needless to say, no Googling for the answers!
2) Meet the awesome Local Guides that make up Team Ninja Warriors!
Come see and hear @OmerAli , @AIMAN_SAEED , @DianaTuaty , @marcorp and @pacomorett , and get to know who these lovely folks are! Throughout the quiz, I will be chatting to them and they can tell us a little bit about themselves and their thoughts on Local Guides.
3) Be the first to participate in Go Loco Podcast’s YouTube channel!
That’s right! The Go Loco Podcast now has a YouTube channel! The plan is to organise more events that we can live stream onto YouTube and share them with the community in Connect! As always, the aim is to try and make them engaging, interactive and educational so stay tuned for some exciting things planned. Oh, and don’t forget to subscribe to the channel and hit the notification bell icon!
4) It’s the weekend!
It sure is! Hopefully, you’re not working and you have nothing else better to do! I know there are tons of exciting meetups happening this weekend too but if you can, do find some time to join us at the live stream. I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed!
5) It’s a virtual meetup unlike any other!
Oh, boy… those are fighting words indeed! I’ve put in some crazy hours into this live stream and I really hope that I can pull it off! Technically, it’s scary (please, God of Internet, give us all a fast and stable connection) and it’s multitasking at a level that my brain feels like imploding! So, who knows, you might see my brain go kablooey.

Bragging rights! It’s all about the bragging rights! Team Les Quizerables are currently at the top of the leader board and have been waiting patiently to see if they are the final winners! Can Team Ninja Warriors pull off an upset and take the crown in a nail-biting finale?! Come and find out for yourself!
