Hello, until last May (I look at the email “Andrea, view your May activity as a Local Guide”) I was a Level 7 Local Guide with 11475 points; in June I noticed the disappearance of 5000 points … I received the same email today with the results of June and I see: Level 7 with 5912 points. I waited a few days before reporting it because previous problems have been resolved automatically.
It seems to me that the photos and reviews I posted on Maps are all there, so it seems to me an error in the attribution of points.
Can you give me some help or a good answer explaining the problem?

Please visit this link and make sure that you have selected “Auto-delete (off)”.
Otherwise, you will keep losing points from answers given by you when they get deleted automatically by Google.
This should solve your problem in the future. Sorry, there is no way to recover the points you already lost.

the option for auto-delete was already off, and I can find mi older post in Google Maps starting from seven years ago…

Can you please go to your Places Answers page in My Activity and let me know if the answers counter is as expected? Are there places about which you’ve answered questions that are missing from the list?
Also, can you share full screenshots of your May and June Local Guides activity emails? Please make sure to hide any personal details, like your email address.

excuse me for the delay; it seems to me that the photos and reviews are all there; I checked my Places Answers page and there is something strange: if I look at the Google Maps app on my phone there are only 13 “questions and answers” (from 2018 to 2020), and in my Places Answers page there are questions and answers relating to 45 places for a period that runs only from March to August of this year. I think I have been giving answers for many more years.
I attach screenshots of the situation in May and June.

Can you please tell me what’s the number of Answers you see in your Google Maps app? There is the Q&A, which refers to the questions you answer by other people on Maps, and then there are Answers, which refer to the quick Yes/No questions that pop up when you click “Know this place.” (Please excuse me if you already gave the number of Answers, I just want to double check!)
About the screenshots, can you also share the rest of the two emails in higher resolution? Once again, please blur your email address. Thank you!

Also I attach the screenshot of the Questions&Answers from the phone app, which shows that I would have given only 13 answers; I tried shortly after to answer 4 more questions and the counter did not increment.
You can see in the header “13 risposte” (13 answers).

It looks like you may have violated the google policies. Google now takes strict action against the violators of ther policies. You may posted such content which mayne irrelevant or misleading, or you may have copy-pasted any content.
I’m sorry about this possibility. It was certainly never my intention. Anyway, can you give me an example of where I would break the rules? It is not my desire to violate any rules and I do not believe that I have copied any content posted by me. I think I’m doing a free service with my photos and reviews. Also I have always posted only positive experiences, because I like to share good and beautiful things. Can I do something about the problem you mentioned?
