I am happy to share some milestone numbers on my contributions on Google Maps.
I am glad to see the places I have added have reached 50Million+ views.
Looking at other Contributions, Photos views has reached 980 Million, it is coming to another milestone number of a Billion Views.
Reviews have reached 2.7 Million views!
So all together my contributions on Maps have reached 1 BILLION Views. I am happy to share that with my fellow local guides. I never imagined I could reach these numbers when I started contributing on maps around 4.5 years back.

@SholaIB Thank you for your kind words, you are right, I joined the local guides program around 4.5 years back, but have been regularly contributing from 2019, that is when I came to know about connect, through the 2019 connect live application process. It’s been a fun journey since then. As you know it is not only contributing to maps, but making friends all over the world. This is just amazing community.

What do you focus on for finding places to add to the maps. Not sure if you’ve already done a post on this, but it’d be interesting to learn about how you find places that need to be added.
@JustJake It is a great question. I try to capture store front photos whenever I get opportunity. During that process I do find places which are not the map. In USA it is specially change in business or a new store opening.
