5 places to have peace, quiet and be close to nature in Singapore

Singapore is a really busy place where most people are hustling and bustling daily working hard and playing hard when they have time to. My friends complain that sometimes we Singaporean’s even walk and talk too fast.

Fortunately, the National Parks Of Singapore have made efforts to demarcate green spaces and areas for recreation and there are a few nice places that one can go for a quiet escape from the city and get inspiration from nature, have some mindful meditation and even just relax and do nothing.

I will sometimes go there to do my writing and quiet reading. Here are my list of places

  1. Lorong Halus wetlands

  2. Coney Island

  3. Upper Pierce Reservoir Park

  4. Telok Blangah Hill Park

  5. East Coast Park - Bedok Jetty

@planetmark It’s nice that you like nature!

Just last weekend singapore local guides group organized a trip to Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve. It was a rather eye-opening experience.

You are welcome to join us on future outings or even organize one of your own!

Cheers,

Thanks for the shout out Julien!

Next event if got makan or sharing, can have get together at my office or event site. I have an event site at Sentosa that serves fantastic Indian food and other training room facility just above MacPherson MRT station.

Let me know when the next event will be, perhaps I can assist…
