5 incredible cities in the world!

1. Dahab - Egypt

Dahab is a hippie and small town located near the red sea, there, you’ll find the best beaches for snorkeling and diving. The landscape is amazing! Big red mountains, hundreds of fishes with different colors, psychodelic skies and a clear - sometimes blue, skyblue or green- sea. You will love to walk in Lighthouse because is full of bars (Churchill’s Bar is my favorite), restaurants and cafes such as "Everyday café”. Dahab is very close to Blue Hole, which is the deepest place on earth to dive, and Blue Lagoon, an excellent spot for learning and practicing windsurfing.

In Dahab, you’ll feel the mysticism of the Bedouin culture and how they influenced the Egyptian music, food and customs. Once you go to Dahab, you’ll want to stay there longer than you planned. It’s simply magic!

2. Paris - Francia

Going to Paris was a dream come true! You just need to walk in the city and you’ll fall in love of all the details in the buildings. Paris is full of symbolism in its streets, architecture and even their people.

Being there, I climbed the stairs to the highest part of the Eiffel Tower which has a

lot of historical information written inside. I met immigrants from India, Senegal in the Champs – Elysées and I got as scared as I was astonished when I saw the Gothic architecture on Notre Dame.

3. Jerusalem - Israel

As an anthropologist, Jerusalem gave me the key to understand the link between religion and culture. For example, in the old city of Jerusalem, I was surrounded by walls of stone, but inside there were lots of different cultures that belongs to the Jewish Quarter, the Armenian, the Christian, and even the Muslim one. I recommend visiting this place and also the "Tower of David Museum”, the guide there was excellent! Also, plan your trip checking the date of the Jerusalem Festival of Light, you’ll find the city full of theater plays, music festivals and a wonderful light show.

4. Cali – Colombia

“Cali pachanguero” like the famous salsa song, it’s a vibrant city where the nature and the urban lifestyle mix well together. For example, you can go swimming to Panze river, continue to the Tertulia Museum and finish in a shopping mall. As an amateur filmmaker, I was so happy to find a vintage museum dedicated to the exhibition of old film projectors. I learned a lot of cameras, films and the influence of the writer Andres Caicedo on the Colombian cinema. Everything in one place, Caliwood Museum! Finally, a must do it’s drinking lulada juice and eat marranitas in any street shop in San Antonio.

5. Iquitos – Perú

Iquitos is a great place to discover giant trees, make ayahuasca ceremonies, meet indigenous tribes such as Yaguas, Boras, Jibaros and sail the Amazon river. Also, “Malecón Tarapacá” is full of cossy restaurants like Casa Fitzcarraldo and bars such us Musmuqui - where you can try typical drinks- and Arandu bar, my favorite places!. You’ll enjoy your time drinking and eating in front of the immense jungle.

You can check all these cities in this links on Google Maps
